About the Role
Design, build, and optimize next-generation cloud storage products, including distributed file, block, and object storage. The role focuses on resilient architectures, performance, observability, production troubleshooting, and storage initiatives supporting AI and HPC workloads.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Go, Java, C, C++, or Rust
- Extensive experience developing multi-tenant, cloud-scale distributed storage infrastructure
- Experience with file, object, or block storage products
- Strong background in high-performance filesystem products, VFS, and Linux filesystems
- Proficiency with Linux and storage subsystems
- Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, log analysis, distributed tracing, and debugging
Responsibilities
- Build core components of multi-petabyte cloud storage products
- Develop distributed file, block, and object storage
- Design and implement high-performance, scalable, and resilient storage architectures
- Prototype strategies to improve performance and system throughput
- Build observability, metrics, and tooling for storage services and fleets
- Troubleshoot distributed systems problems
- Support production systems and customer workloads
- Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and incident response
- Represent the storage team in business-critical initiatives
