About the Role
You will design, develop, and integrate the robot platform across simulation and real-world hardware. You will interface platform software with hardware drivers, implement deployment-ready C++ code, integrate CI/CD workflows, support field deployments, advise stakeholders, and maintain technical documentation and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar discipline
- At least five years of industry or research experience
- Robotics or autonomous-driving experience across sensors, perception, mapping, localization, navigation, and control
- Experience deploying software on hardware platforms
- Production-level modern C++ programming ability
- Python algorithm-prototyping ability
- Experience with ROS
Responsibilities
- Integrate the robot software stack across simulation and real-world hardware
- Collaborate with Embedded Systems on software and hardware-driver interfaces
- Implement deployment-ready code optimized for robot computational constraints
- Integrate platform development into CI/CD pipelines
- Guide Field Engineering on deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Advise product managers and executives on technical strategy
- Create and maintain documentation, guidelines, and best practices
