About the Role

You will build, integrate, and maintain research robot platforms. You will develop C++ and Python robot software, create deployment and data-collection infrastructure, run experiments, troubleshoot hardware and software, build validation tests, and help guide robotics and ML technical direction.

Requirements

  • Experience in robot manipulation and robot hardware
  • Experience leading robotics efforts
  • Strong C++ or Python programming experience
  • Experience with robot control, planning, ROS, or ROS2
  • Experience training and deploying learned robot policies
  • Track record of high-quality robotics, embodied AI, or related research or engineering work
  • Publications at ICRA, CoRL, IROS, or similar venues
  • PhD or Master's degree with equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Build, integrate, and maintain robot hardware platforms
  • Develop and maintain robot software in C++ and Python
  • Create infrastructure for policy deployment, data collection, and evaluation
  • Run real-world robot experiments and define data-collection pilots
  • Collaborate on robot policy development, model evaluation, and data strategy
  • Debug robotic software, hardware, and policy failures
  • Build deployment, regression, and validation tests
  • Help shape technical direction across robotics, ML, hardware, and experimentation
