About the Role

You design, build, and test infrastructure for risk products. You lead complex projects from technical design through rollout, scale Ruby on Rails and TypeScript/React applications, provide technical expertise, communicate project progress, mentor engineers, improve technical quality, participate in on-call rotations, and resolve reliability, security, and performance incidents.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software development experience
  • Experience applying AI tools to development, testing, and documentation
  • Production-quality code and architecture experience
  • End-to-end project ownership
  • Technical direction and prioritization
  • Communication of technical complexity
  • Test-driven development
  • Maintainable and documented code
  • Fault-tolerant software

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and test risk infrastructure
  • Lead projects from technical design through rollout
  • Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Design, Data Science, and Operations
  • Scale Ruby on Rails and TypeScript/React applications
  • Provide domain expertise on risk platform capabilities
  • Communicate project timelines and updates
  • Mentor engineers
  • Execute technical debt and quality improvements
  • Participate in on-call rotations
  • Respond to reliability, security, and performance incidents
  • Build productivity tools, patterns, and documentation
