About the Role
You will develop Python software drivers and interfaces for hardware systems, including PCBAs, avionics, sensors, and automated test equipment. You will build automated test frameworks, scalable infrastructure, shared libraries, CI/CD pipelines, provisioning automation, monitoring tools, and test-result databases. You will also perform design and code reviews and integrate test capabilities with hardware, systems, and QA workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field
- Mastery of fundamental computer science topics
- Advanced Python software-development skills
- Linux, Bash scripting, and networking experience
- Ability to configure and maintain small computer networks
- Experience working on complex software-development projects
- Demonstrated ownership and delivery of project outcomes
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop Python software drivers and interfaces for hardware systems
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and repeatable automated test frameworks
- Develop CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, automated validation, and test-stand deployment
- Build and maintain scalable test infrastructure and shared libraries
- Automate system provisioning and configuration management for test environments
- Develop real-time monitoring and data-visualization tools
- Lead and participate in design and code reviews
