About the Role
Support operations at a Bitcoin mining facility in Wyoming/Montana by maintaining ASIC miners, monitoring electrical and cooling systems, troubleshooting performance issues, and providing technical leadership to the on-site team.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Bitcoin mining site operations or similar high-density data environments.
- Strong understanding of ASIC miner architecture, firmware, and diagnostics.
- Experience with electrical and low-voltage systems, cabling, and power distribution.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals, IP addressing, switches, and monitoring tools.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and electrical schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
- Comfort working in physically demanding and outdoor conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights or weekends.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance and troubleshooting of ASIC miners.
- Monitor and maintain electrical distribution, PDUs, and cooling systems.
- Diagnose miner performance issues, hashboard faults, and power irregularities.
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and testing of miners and infrastructure.
- Conduct network setup and monitoring for ASICs and management systems.
- Maintain logs of repairs, replacements, and downtime events.
- Support preventive maintenance programs.
- Collaborate with the Site Manager and junior technicians.
- Uphold site safety and compliance standards.
- Provide technical input for upgrades and scaling projects.
