About the Role
You will install, configure, and maintain data centre hardware in a 24/7 shift environment. You will monitor environmental conditions, respond to alerts, support build-outs and upgrades, coordinate with infrastructure teams, and mentor junior technicians. At senior level, you will lead technical deployment work and improve procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5+ years of data center or IT infrastructure experience
- Hands-on experience with enterprise GPU servers
- Ability to work independently on hardware and cabling tasks
- Ability to work on-site full-time in shift rotation
- English communication and stakeholder-management skills
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and data centre hardware
- Monitor temperature, humidity, and power conditions and respond to alerts
- Ensure infrastructure uptime and availability in a 24/7 environment
- Participate in on-call support
- Lead or contribute to build-outs, migrations, refreshes, and data hall openings
- Plan and schedule machine installations and future site upgrades
- Collaborate with remote hands teams, network engineers, system administrators, and site leadership
- Mentor junior technicians and support hiring and team building
