About the Role

You will lead quality activities at customer installation sites, oversee inspections and local quality-control resources, and ensure installation processes meet quality requirements. You will investigate failures, drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions, coordinate with suppliers and customers, mentor site quality personnel, and use Lean and Six Sigma methods to improve processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline
• At least 10 years of quality engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of FMEA, DOE, MSA, GRR, and 8D
• Experience with engineering, quality, development engineering, and manufacturing
• Experience with control plans, FMEA, PPAP, reliability methods, and failure-mode analysis
• Experience with SAA, Minitab, JMP, MATLAB, and advanced Excel
• Valid driver's license and access to a major airport

Responsibilities

• Provide quality leadership at customer installation sites
• Oversee up to three installation sites and local quality-control resources
• Conduct surveillance of installation partners
• Plan, execute, and manage quality activities with suppliers and customer sites
• Use 8D corrective actions to resolve root causes and prevent recurrence
• Communicate issues and drive closed-loop problem resolution
• Support disposition of discrepant material and qualification of new materials and processes
• Use Six Sigma and Lean methods to improve quality and processes
• Analyze product failures and develop corrective and preventive actions
• Mentor and coach site quality personnel
• Travel up to 75%
