About the Role

You will build and own an AS9100D-compliant quality management system, lead third-party certification, and serve as the technical authority for quality. You will manage audits, supplier quality, inspection and control plans, nonconformance and corrective actions, customer audits, and quality reporting.

Requirements

7+ years of quality engineering experience in regulated manufacturing
AS9100D or ISO 9001:2015 expertise
Experience implementing a quality management system or contributing to third-party certification
Structured problem-solving, FMEA, control-plan, and process-capability-analysis skills
GD&T and engineering-drawing interpretation skills
Ability to work in both procedure reviews and shop-floor operations

Responsibilities

Architect, document, and own the AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 quality management system
Lead third-party certification efforts
Run internal audits, management reviews, and supplier quality activities
Own inspection plans, control plans, first article inspection, and quality records
Lead nonconformance containment, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions
Serve as the quality contact for customer audits and source inspections
Report quality performance to leadership and customers
Mentor inspectors, technicians, and junior quality staff
