About the Role

You will design interfaces between robot applications and hardware, integrate mechatronic and electrical systems, and debug robotics software, embedded, networking, electrical, and mechanical components. You will diagnose performance and timing issues, conduct rigorous testing and root-cause analysis, and improve system reliability and scalability.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
• 4+ years of hands-on robotics experience
• Experience developing drivers, hardware abstraction layers, or interfaces for sensors, actuators, or embedded devices
• Experience with ROS or ROS2, real-time or embedded Linux, fieldbus or device communications, distributed middleware, sensor or actuator integration, and performance optimization
• Ability to design and troubleshoot basic electrical circuits and mechanical components
• Debugging, system integration, and root-cause analysis skills
• Ability to work in office five days per week

Responsibilities

• Design software interfaces between robot applications and sensors, actuators, embedded controllers, and communication buses
• Design and integrate mechatronic systems, mechanisms, test fixtures, and electrical subsystems
• Integrate and debug robotic systems across software, embedded, networking, electrical, and mechanical domains
• Diagnose performance, reliability, timing, and hardware-interface issues
• Drive reliability and scalability through testing and root-cause analysis
