About the Role
You will assemble, wire, calibrate, and validate end-effector prototypes. You will build test rigs, compare components using sensor and actuator data, troubleshoot field and lab failures, identify root causes across hardware and software interfaces, and document findings for engineering improvements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of robotics, mechatronics, or integration engineering experience
- Electromechanical system integration experience
- Oscilloscope, multimeter, and logic analyzer debugging skills
- Robotic gripper, actuator, tactile sensor, force and torque sensor, encoder, or load-cell knowledge
- Calibration, repeatability, hysteresis, drift, noise, and sampling knowledge
- Linux and Python familiarity
- ROS or ROS2 familiarity
- Git familiarity
Responsibilities
- Integrate mechanisms, actuators, sensors, electronics, controls, and robot software
- Assemble, wire, bring up, calibrate, and validate end-effector prototypes
- Build mechanical and electrical test rigs
- Run component comparison tests
- Capture and analyze sensor and actuator data
- Triage and debug end-effector and sensor failures
- Perform root-cause analysis
- Document findings and provide feedback to engineering teams
