About the Role

You will turn engineering designs and test plans into working robotic hardware. You will assemble, wire, bring up, and test robots and subsystems; execute test procedures; maintain test fixtures and lab equipment; troubleshoot issues; document work; and support early deployments.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience building and testing robots or complex electromechanical systems
• Ability to read schematics, mechanical drawings, BOMs, and work instructions
• Experience with soldering, crimping, hand tools, and mechanical and electrical fabrication and assembly
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers
• Record keeping and documentation skills
• Experience in a prototype environment

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, and bring up robotic systems and subsystems
• Execute test plans and collect, log, and organize test data
• Build, maintain, and improve test fixtures and jigs
• Run diagnostic equipment to triage and debug issues
• Support cross-disciplinary mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software triage
• Support early robot deployments and potential on-call work
• Document build logs and write standard operating procedures
• Perform soldering, crimping, rework, and light fabrication
• Maintain lab equipment, tools, inventory, consumables, and workspace safety
• Improve robot assembly, bringup, and QA processes
• Use Python scripting to run test routines or parse data
