About the Role

You will design, release, and support propulsion hardware across engine, fuel, oil, and bleed-air systems. You will develop NX models and drawings, support production builds and test campaigns, perform engineering analyses, manage configurations and BOMs, and participate in design reviews and root-cause investigations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of aerospace hardware-design experience, preferably in propulsion systems
  • Proficiency in CAD modeling and drawing creation with GD&T
  • Experience resolving build issues with production, technicians, and machine shops
  • Understanding of design for manufacturing, machining limitations, tolerance stack-ups, and assembly workflows
  • Hands-on experience supporting hardware builds and test integration
  • U.S. citizenship or ability to comply with ITAR requirements

Responsibilities

  • Own the design and release of propulsion hardware for engine, fuel, oil, and bleed-air systems
  • Develop and maintain CAD models, drawings, and assemblies using Siemens NX and GD&T
  • Translate propulsion requirements into manufacturable, testable, flight-ready hardware
  • Support builds, resolve non-conformances, and drive iterative improvements with production and machine shops
  • Support test campaigns through hardware design, instrumentation accommodation, and iteration
  • Apply engineering analysis to sizing, load cases, and design validation
  • Support configuration management, BOM control, and change processes
  • Participate in design reviews, interface control, and root-cause investigations
