About the Role
You will own mechanical components and electromechanical assemblies from early design through manufacturing. You will prototype, test, validate, and optimize hardware; apply DFM and DFA; and collaborate across engineering and manufacturing to resolve technical challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related discipline
- 1-2+ years of experience designing mechanical systems, mechanisms, or electromechanical assemblies
- 3D CAD software
- Mechanical design principles, materials, manufacturing processes, GD&T, and tolerance analysis
- Mechanical hardware prototyping, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
- FEA, first-principles calculations, or validation testing
- Robotic hardware
- Engineering drawings, BOMs, specifications, and engineering change documentation
Responsibilities
- Design and release mechanical components and electromechanical assemblies
- Deliver prototype and production-ready hardware through iterative development
- Apply engineering analysis and validation testing to improve product performance
- Drive DFM, DFA, and cost optimization
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to support production readiness
