About the Role
Xsolla seeks a Senior Product Manager to lead product planning and design for a white-label app store platform. The role covers configurable platform architecture, branded app marketplaces, app lifecycle management, developer capabilities, multi-tenancy, permissions, operations, monetization, and app store strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
- 5–8 years of product management experience in internet products; platform, app store, content distribution, open platform, or SaaS experience preferred.
- Experience designing complex backend or platform products and leading delivery across multiple user roles and modules.
- Strong familiarity with app review, search ranking, recommendations, chart strategies, and growth conversion.
- Familiarity with white-label products, multi-tenant architecture, permission systems, or configurable backend design.
- Strong requirements analysis and abstraction skills.
- Strong cross-functional communication and project execution skills.
- Data-driven mindset with ability to identify product issues through analysis and drive improvements.
- Solid English reading and writing proficiency; overseas or multilingual product experience preferred.
- Bonus: experience with Google Play, Huawei AppGallery, Xiaomi App Store, Android SDKs, advertising, monetization, overseas markets, compliance, or security risk management.
Responsibilities
- Lead product planning and design for the end-user app store, developer console, and operations backend.
- Own configurable product design including brand theming, layout, content structure, operational rules, and role-based permissions.
- Design and optimize the app lifecycle from onboarding and review through publishing, search, recommendations, and download conversion.
- Gather client and stakeholder requirements and consolidate reusable modules to reduce custom development.
- Collaborate with engineering on multi-tenancy, permission frameworks, configuration backends, and module reuse.
- Design developer onboarding, submission and review, version management, dashboards, and settlement modules.
- Design featured collections, campaign pages, and resource slot scheduling with operations teams.
- Partner with monetization teams on advertising, revenue sharing, and subscription capabilities.
- Track app store, Android ecosystem, and overseas distribution developments to refine product strategy.
