About the Role
You will hold end-to-end operational responsibility for the pension custody account business. You will establish, manage, and improve operational processes; oversee allowances, transfers, taxation, bonus applications, and exceptional cases; ensure compliant daily operations; guide employees; coordinate stakeholders; automate processes; and monitor KPIs and service levels.
Requirements
- Degree in economics, natural sciences, or a comparable discipline, or comparable finance- or capital-market-related training
- Several years of experience in operations, banking, or financial services
- Knowledge of pension products, especially Riester products, is advantageous
- Experience with pension products, securities services, custody business, or related financial products is advantageous
- Knowledge of data analysis, reporting, and process automation is desirable
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, or comparable technologies is desirable
- Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
Responsibilities
- Hold end-to-end operational responsibility for the pension custody account business
- Build, manage, and develop operational processes for pension custody accounts and other products
- Manage allowances, custody transfers, taxation, bonus applications, and complex exceptional cases
- Ensure efficient and regulatorily compliant daily operations
- Lead, develop, and support employees
- Collaborate with internal functions, partner banks, fintechs, service providers, authorities, and institutions
- Manage data exchange and collaboration with the Central Allowance Office for Retirement Assets
- Analyze, optimize, and automate processes using modern technologies
- Contribute to strategic projects and monitor KPIs and service levels
- Support development of pension custody accounts and future pension solutions
