About the Role
You will own execution across one or two product areas, working with the product lead to turn product direction into clear, buildable requirements. You will resolve edge cases, incorporate commercial, legal, and regulatory input, and guide work from decisions through releases. You will work closely with engineering on refinement, sequencing, delivery meetings, and day-to-day specification questions. You will make and document product decisions, explain product behaviour to partner teams, assess retail customer experiences, and use metrics and SQL analysis to identify friction and guide improvements.
Requirements
- Around 3 to 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst on technically complex products or platforms
- Strong product judgement for retail customer experiences
- SQL proficiency and comfort reasoning about data structures
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Numeracy and attention to detail
- Practical fluency with AI tools and an informed view of their use in product work
Responsibilities
- Translate product direction into buildable problems, requirements, and edge cases
- Incorporate commercial, legal, and regulatory input into engineering requirements
- Manage refinement, sequencing, delivery meetings, and day-to-day collaboration with engineering
- Make day-to-day product decisions and document the reasoning behind them
- Explain product behaviour to partner teams through calls and shared channels
- Assess and improve the retail customer experience
- Define success metrics and use data to identify friction and prioritise improvements
