About the Role
You will own the regulatory and compliance aspects of Canadian brokerage products, including crypto-asset trading, equities, options, and registered accounts. You will partner with engineering, design, compliance, and operations to launch products, maintain regulatory processes and policies, monitor regulatory changes, and deliver required product updates.
Requirements
- 5+ years working with brokerage products in Canada
- Deep familiarity with CIRO rules for OEO brokerages, Canadian securities law, and the CSA framework for crypto-asset trading platforms
- Experience partnering with engineering teams on technical projects
- Direct exposure to crypto-asset trading platforms and traditional retail brokerage products
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering, design, compliance, and operations to launch Canadian products in a regulated environment
- Define, build, and maintain regulatory processes for new and existing brokerage products
- Maintain and monitor adherence to firm policies and procedures across product lines
- Track regulatory changes and deliver product updates to meet new requirements
