About the Role
You will lead product managers and deliver high-impact products that improve key metrics. You will shape scalable platform products, make high-level architecture and UI/UX decisions, write technical PRDs, and execute the product roadmap with engineering and design. You will prioritize product opportunities, turn stakeholder and user needs into achievable requirements, and improve customer experience and market growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or at least 3 years of technical experience
- At least 4 years of product management or equivalent experience
- Business-level written and verbal English
- Master’s degree in a technology-related field or at least 3 years of technical experience preferred
- Ability to break down technical or business problems into deliverables while considering stakeholders and business impact
- Track record in a fast-paced environment, startup, or user-facing products
- Excellent oral, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Japanese language proficiency preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage a product management team directly or through other managers
- Deliver and drive critical products with significant impact on key metrics
- Mentor and educate product managers across the organization
- Create scalable platform products with a long-term view
- Manage and execute high-level technical architecture and UI/UX decisions
- Write technical PRDs and execute the product roadmap with engineering and design
- Define and prioritize product challenges and opportunities that drive growth
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand user problems and formulate achievable development requirements
- Develop customer-experience understanding, identify product gaps, and generate ideas that improve market share and growth
