About the Role
You will define and evaluate embedded cybersecurity controls, identify requirements and design deficiencies, verify cybersecurity posture, and integrate security throughout product development. You will prepare cybersecurity-case evidence, manage security-vendor relationships, and train internal stakeholders on secure practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience with safety-critical cyber-physical systems.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a related technical field plus 6+ years of demonstrated technical experience.
- Cybersecurity knowledge for embedded, automotive, and autonomous systems.
- Experience using embedded operating systems including Linux, QNX, and AUTOSAR.
- Embedded networking knowledge.
- Threat-modeling experience for software and hardware weaknesses and vulnerabilities.
Responsibilities
- Define and evaluate cybersecurity controls for embedded operating systems, encryption, access control, networking, middleware, and secure coding.
- Implement embedded operating-system, networking, and cryptographic controls.
- Identify cybersecurity requirements, design deficiencies, and implementation defects.
- Verify product cybersecurity posture.
- Embed security into product design and development lifecycles.
- Update security approaches for emerging threats and technologies.
- Manage external security-vendor and partner relationships.
- Prepare cybersecurity-case evidence for product and software releases.
- Train stakeholders on security practices.
