About the Role

You will build and maintain trusted boot and device-provisioning software, support device trust and key protection, and investigate software and hardware issues. You will write, test, and debug Linux software and scripts, reduce attack surfaces, and deliver well-scoped projects through design, implementation, and testing.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of full-time software engineering experience or equivalent experience
• Object-oriented programming and software design knowledge
• Ability to contribute across C++, Python, and Rust codebases
• Experience using, reviewing, and validating AI-assisted development tools
• Familiarity with authentication, encryption, cryptographic keys, and trust boundaries
• Linux and Python or Bash scripting experience
• Ability to work on-site in San Diego
• Key management or NVIDIA Jetson experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted boot and device-provisioning software and tools
• Support device trust and key protection using hardware roots of trust
• Contribute to device key management using hardware security modules
• Write, test, and debug Linux software and scripts
• Investigate issues across software and hardware
• Identify and reduce attack surfaces across device software and boot flows
• Collaborate through design discussions, code reviews, and documentation
• Own well-scoped projects from design through implementation and testing
