About the Role

Develop, implement, and optimize options trading strategies across global markets; analyze market data and quantitative models; manage risk exposures; collaborate with data scientists, quants, and traders; monitor market events affecting options prices and volatility; execute trades and manage positions; and improve trading systems and technologies.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a top-tier university
  • More than 7 years of options trading experience with strong knowledge of options markets and strategies
  • Track record of consistent profits with PnL exceeding $2 million for more than 3 years
  • Experience with quantitative trading and applying data analysis to trading decisions
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, options pricing, volatility, and risk management
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for quick, data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience mentoring junior traders and contributing to team development
  • Results-driven, proactive, and self-motivated approach
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, or similar programming languages preferred
  • Residence in Hong Kong and pre-existing right to work in Hong Kong without company sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and optimize options trading strategies across global markets
  • Analyze market data and leverage quantitative models to identify profitable trading opportunities
  • Monitor and manage risk exposures in line with risk management protocols
  • Collaborate with data scientists, quants, and traders to refine trading algorithms and strategies
  • Monitor market trends, news, and economic events affecting options prices and volatility
  • Execute trades and manage positions for optimal execution and liquidity
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of trading systems and technologies
