About the Role
You will monitor live trading activity across overnight, extended-hours, and regular market sessions. You will enter and execute equity and option orders, investigate trade inquiries, monitor routing systems and venues, resolve trade-related issues, and coordinate responses to system, trading, and communications incidents. You will also partner with Product, Engineering, and Compliance on product development and problem-solving.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3–5 years of experience in a broker-dealer operations or trading environment
- FINRA Series 7 license
- FINRA 57 license
- Understanding of brokerage operations functions
- Communication skills
- Analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing environments
Responsibilities
- Execute written supervisory procedures in compliance with SEC and FINRA rules
- Enter and execute equity and option orders
- Resolve trade inquiries
- Monitor trading activity, firm accounts, and corporate actions
- Identify and resolve trade-related issues
- Monitor the health of routing systems and venues
- Interact with venues as required
- Coordinate responses to system, trading, and communications incidents
- Engage cross-functional teams on product development and problem-solving
