About the Role
You will monitor real-time trading and production systems across global markets, manage market conditions and risk exposures, and support trading operations. You will investigate incidents, execute approved operational adjustments, maintain clear shift handovers, and use AI tools and automation to improve workflows, dashboards, integrations, and monitoring capabilities.
Requirements
- Practical understanding of AI tools, AI agents, skills, workflow automation, and AI-assisted development.
- Interest in capital markets, trading, financial instruments, crypto, and DeFi.
- Ability to explore technologies, work with data and systems, and solve unfamiliar challenges.
- Ability to learn new tools and concepts quickly.
- Problem-solving, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
- Ability to take ownership, follow issues through resolution, and escalate appropriately.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Availability for shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excel or similar spreadsheet skills for investigating, validating, and communicating data.
- Ability to prioritize live issues, maintain accurate records, and provide actionable handovers.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage real-time trading and production systems across global financial markets.
- Monitor market conditions, pricing, liquidity, trading activity, positions, and risk exposures.
- Execute manual trades and adjust hedging parameters within defined bounds.
- Support TradFi and DeFi trading workflows, including execution, liquidity, hedging, transaction flows, and settlement.
- Make operational adjustments to trading configurations according to procedures and risk limits.
- Investigate trading failures, system alerts, and operational incidents; assess impact and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain operational discipline during live shifts and provide clear handovers.
- Use AI tools, agents, and automation to investigate problems, analyze data, and improve operations.
- Build and enhance internal tools, dashboards, integrations, and workflows.
- Identify opportunities to improve monitoring, operational efficiency, and system reliability.
- Support expansion of 24/7 production monitoring capabilities.
