About the Role
You will design, validate, automate, and operate large-scale InfiniBand, RoCE, and Ethernet fabrics. You will engineer perimeter and security infrastructure, build GitOps automation, resolve escalations, lead root-cause analysis, improve observability, maintain network inventory, and collaborate on new-site delivery while mentoring engineers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of network engineering experience
- Experience in HPC, AI, or hyperscale data centre environments
- Experience with RDMA-aware networking, InfiniBand, RoCE, OpenSM, UFM, and fabric orchestration
- Knowledge of BGP, EVPN-VxLAN, Clos, and spine-leaf architectures
- Production experience with Cumulus, Nokia, or Arista EOS
- Python, Ansible, Git, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD experience
- Experience with Juniper SRX or Palo Alto firewall platforms
- Experience designing network telemetry and observability
- Experience leading incident response at senior escalation levels
Responsibilities
- Design, validate, and operate InfiniBand, RoCE, and Ethernet fabric architectures
- Apply expertise in BGP, EVPN, VxLAN, LACP, and QoS
- Engineer firewall, NAT, VPN, and security policy infrastructure
- Build Python and Ansible network automation in a GitOps model
- Resolve complex escalations and lead root-cause analysis
- Improve telemetry, monitoring, and alerting for network fabrics
- Maintain source-of-truth network inventory and configuration data
- Collaborate on new-site delivery and mentor engineers
