About the Role
You will architect ultra-low-latency, high-bandwidth networking for cloud platforms and GPU clusters. You will define topologies and standards, evaluate network technologies, guide automation and telemetry, coordinate compute and storage architecture, and mentor engineers on advanced networking and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience architecting high-performance data center networks
- Expertise with InfiniBand, Ethernet fabrics, RoCE, and RDMA
- Knowledge of data center switching architectures, PFC, ECN, QoS, VXLAN, and EVPN
- Experience designing low-latency and high-throughput data paths
- Expertise with BGP fabric design, eBGP underlays, MP-BGP EVPN, ECMP, route policy, and convergence
- Experience with SDN, APIs, automation, and network telemetry
- Optical networking knowledge including transceivers, fiber, link budgets, breakout architectures, and WDM
- Experience building resilient and fault-tolerant network architectures
- Communication and leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Architect high-performance networking solutions for cloud platforms
- Define network topology and architectural patterns for GPU clusters, storage backends, and multi-tenant environments
- Evaluate, benchmark, and select network technologies for AI workloads
- Develop and maintain network architecture standards, reference designs, and scalability roadmaps
- Partner with compute and storage architects to ensure end-to-end data flow and fault tolerance
- Guide network automation, provisioning, telemetry, and operational visibility strategies
- Mentor engineers and cross-functional teams on networking concepts, troubleshooting, and architectural practices
