About the Role

You will develop, validate, and deploy repeatable manufacturing and assembly processes. You will support production-line setup and builds, improve yield and throughput, implement fixtures and controls with suppliers, validate first articles, manage manufacturing data and documentation, and lead root-cause investigations through resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline
• 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a hardware product environment
• Manufacturing and assembly process development experience
• Contract manufacturer and supplier management experience
• Experience with plastics molding, metal fabrication, welding, and mechanical assembly
• NPI and production-ramp experience
• Statistical process control, Cpk, and Gauge R&R knowledge
• SolidWorks or equivalent CAD experience
• GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation
• Jira
• Arena
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve high-yield manufacturing and assembly processes
• Set up and ramp production lines with suppliers
• Support design for manufacturability
• Develop assembly processes, work instructions, and fixtures
• Deploy manufacturing processes, layouts, fixtures, and gauges
• Lead PFMEA and Control Plan development
• Maintain process documentation and manufacturing data
• Build reports and dashboards for production issues
• Validate first-article components and inspection data
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions
• Support reliability and manufacturing testing
