About the Role
You will own technical accounting positions for complex transactions, prepare supporting memos, and lead the financial reporting close. You will establish accounting policies and controls, manage the external audit, and partner with finance, legal, and commercial stakeholders on transaction accounting.
Requirements
- Experience writing technical accounting memos for complex accounting areas
- Experience owning a financial reporting close and producing GAAP financial statements
- Experience building accounting policies, processes, or controls from scratch
- Experience managing external auditors through a full audit
- Experience accounting for novel or complex transactions
- Ability to explain technical accounting conclusions to non-accountants
Responsibilities
- Own technical accounting positions across revenue recognition, leases, project finance, and equity
- Write accounting memos for complex data center transactions
- Run the financial reporting close and produce financial statements
- Establish technical accounting policies and controls
- Manage the external audit relationship
- Partner with finance, legal, and commercial stakeholders on complex transactions
