About the Role
You will oversee daily accounting operations across the general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll, and expenses. You will lead close processes, prepare financial statements and reports, maintain GAAP compliance, improve controls and systems, support planning, analyze variances, and coordinate audits, filings, and compliance activities.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- CPA or equivalent certification
- GAAP knowledge
- Financial reporting knowledge
- Accounting system proficiency
- ERP system proficiency
- Sage Intacct proficiency
- Excel proficiency
- Analytical ability
Responsibilities
- Own daily accounting operations including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense management
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Maintain financial records and prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and accounting standards
- Improve accounting processes, internal controls, and financial policies
- Implement and optimize accounting systems, tools, and workflows
- Support budgeting and forecasting with financial data and insights
- Monitor financial metrics and analyze variances
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory partners
