About the Role
You will own the economics of the US business by maintaining revenue and gross-margin forecasts, building customer cohort models, analyzing payments, fraud, and incentive costs, owning KPI reporting, sizing market and channel opportunities, modeling cost categories, and presenting recommendations to leadership.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience in strategic finance or business analytics
- Experience building driver-based financial models from scratch
- Experience with transaction-level unit economics
- Ability to decompose margin by segment, channel, or payment method
- Experience defining KPIs and building reporting infrastructure
- Experience creating dashboards used by finance or strategy teams
- Experience producing analysis that changes leadership decisions
- Experience at a fintech, crypto, or marketplace company is a plus
- SQL and self-serve dashboard experience with Looker, Metabase, or similar is a plus
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update weekly US revenue and gross-margin forecasts
- Build cohort models tracking acquisition, deposits, trading activity, and retention
- Decompose payments, fraud, and incentive costs
- Own the weekly KPI reporting pack for US leadership
- Define metrics and close data gaps
- Size new market and channel opportunities
- Build models for liquidity, web hosting, onboarding, and transaction-driven expenses
- Present analyses and recommendations to leadership
- Follow through until decisions are made
