About the Role
You will lead an engineering team developing SaaS and hybrid multi-tenant products. You will recruit and develop engineers, contribute through design and code reviews, manage investments, define product requirements with product management, and help resolve production issues.
Requirements
- Experience hiring and leading engineers
- Experience leading Agile teams and planning processes
- CI/CD commercial cloud architecture and delivery experience
- At least 2 years leading Software as a Service teams and processes
- At least 5 years directly managing development teams and delivering commercial products
- Ability to coordinate product development product management and customer services
- Expertise in Java Cassandra Kafka Amazon Web Services and Kubernetes or an equivalent enterprise-grade software stack
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional team of eight developers
- Manage recruitment training and team development
- Conduct design and code reviews
- Contribute to the codebase
- Forecast allocate and manage capital and people investments
- Work with product management to define product requirements
- Support rapid responses to production issues
- Participate in on-call coverage when required
