About the Role
You will lead end-to-end revenue accounting, including contract reviews, revenue recognition conclusions, monthly close activities, reconciliations, and order-to-cash operations. You will provide ASC 606 guidance, improve policies and controls, support audits, partner with business stakeholders, and mentor revenue accounting team members.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant accounting experience, including technical revenue accounting under ASC 606 and/or IFRS 15
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong revenue recognition and complex contract review experience
- Experience leading revenue accounting close activities
- Deep understanding of order-to-cash processes
- Experience scaling revenue accounting and order-to-cash processes
- Experience with revenue recognition, ERP, CRM, or order-to-cash systems such as Salesforce
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, written, and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of internal controls, audit requirements, and SOX compliance protocols
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end revenue accounting process
- Review revenue-related account reconciliations
- Manage customer contract preparation, review, and approval
- Provide technical accounting guidance on ASC 606
- Own and evolve revenue accounting policies
- Design and improve order-to-cash processes
- Identify and address process gaps, control risks, and system limitations
- Support internal and external audits
- Mentor and develop revenue accounting team members
