About the Role
You will own revenue accounting from contract signature through cash collection. You will analyze contracts under ASC 606, run the monthly revenue close, maintain deferred revenue and contract-cost schedules, oversee billing controls and outsourced accounts receivable work, and lead revenue-cycle audit support.
Requirements
- CPA
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
- 3+ years of hands-on SaaS or software revenue-recognition experience
- ASC 606 knowledge
- Revenue subledger or billing-platform experience integrated with a CRM
- External revenue-cycle audit support experience
- Multi-entity or international billing exposure
- Technical memo writing
Responsibilities
- Review customer contracts, amendments, and upsells and document ASC 606 positions
- Own the monthly revenue close, schedules, flux analysis, and reconciliations
- Own commission capitalization and amortization under ASC 340-40
- Maintain billing data integrity and design order-to-cash controls
- Manage the outsourced accounts receivable specialist
- Lead revenue-cycle audit support and technical position defense
- Build revenue policies and process documentation
