About the Role

You will build and lead the Quality Engineering organization across new product introduction, production quality, incoming inspection, MRB, and quality systems. You will translate design requirements into manufacturing and inspection controls, drive root-cause resolution, and improve product and process quality across critical robot systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Quality Engineering management experience in a complex hardware or manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Materials, or related engineering discipline
  • Experience leading Quality Engineers and technical quality teams through new product introduction and production ramp
  • Experience with manufacturing quality controls, inspection, metrology, and process validation for electromechanical hardware
  • Experience developing control plans, PFMEA, inspection strategies, and corrective-action processes
  • Experience with structured problem-solving, root cause analysis, and quality systems
  • Cross-functional leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the Quality Engineering organization
  • Establish quality planning, manufacturing controls, inspection strategies, and acceptance criteria
  • Lead PFMEA and control plan development
  • Resolve production and incoming quality issues through containment, root cause analysis, corrective action, and verification
  • Develop and improve Quality Management Systems and MRB processes
  • Partner across engineering, supply chain, software, and operations to improve quality
  • Use inspection, metrology, defect, and production data to prioritize improvements and report quality performance
