About the Role

You will lead the infrastructure platform engineering team responsible for resource pooling, allocation, capacity intelligence, fleet lifecycle management, and platform security. You will set technical direction, hire and mentor engineers, improve efficiency and availability, establish engineering standards, and remain hands-on in architecture and design decisions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in infrastructure or systems software development
  • At least 3+ years in an engineering leadership role
  • Expertise in large-scale infrastructure platforms that pool, allocate, and reconcile compute resources
  • Strong background with Kubernetes and GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • Experience with distributed state management and control systems
  • Experience with efficiency, capacity, or performance engineering
  • Hands-on management approach
  • Track record of hiring and developing infrastructure engineers

Responsibilities

  • Lead the infrastructure platform engineering team
  • Set the technical roadmap for capacity intelligence, resource lifecycle management, and platform security
  • Drive secure and well-instrumented platform systems
  • Hire, mentor, and grow infrastructure software engineers
  • Partner with infrastructure, production engineering, and security teams
  • Improve platform efficiency and availability
  • Establish engineering standards for infrastructure software development
  • Translate infrastructure into reliable platform primitives
  • Review designs and contribute to architecture decisions
