About the Role
You will build and lead the platform engineering team, including hiring, performance management, and career development. You will own the infrastructure roadmap and technical strategy, prioritizing work across speed, cost, and reliability. You will drive self-service infrastructure, CI/CD improvements, developer tooling, observability, zero-trust IAM, incident practices, and multi-region readiness. You will partner with product, protocol, and business stakeholders, document architecture decisions, establish infrastructure-as-code standards, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 8+ years in infrastructure or platform engineering, including 3+ years managing engineering teams
- Experience building and scaling production infrastructure from startup to enterprise scale
- Experience leading platform or infrastructure transformations that improved developer velocity and reliability
- Technical fluency in event-driven architectures, Kubernetes-based platforms, GitOps, and cloud infrastructure
- Ability to review architecture, guide technical decisions, and join incident response
- Cross-functional leadership across product, protocol, and business teams
- Ability to operate in fast-changing, ambiguous environments
- Async communication through RFCs, runbooks, and incident reviews
- Curiosity about crypto and DeFi
