About the Role

You will own company-wide headcount and operating-expense planning, budgeting, forecasting, and actuals reporting. You will partner with department leaders on hiring and budget plans, analyze variances, improve planning processes and systems, and prepare executive and board reporting.

Requirements

6+ years of progressive finance experience with headcount or operating-expense planning and reporting.
Financial modeling skills.
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency.
Experience with planning tools such as Anaplan, Adaptive, or Workday.
Experience partnering with People and Recruiting teams.
Experience owning budgeting and actuals reporting processes.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Own company-wide headcount planning and forecasting.
Lead annual operating-expense budgeting and in-year forecasting.
Own monthly and quarterly actuals reporting and variance analysis.
Maintain rolling headcount and operating-expense forecasts.
Advise department leaders on headcount and operating-expense budgets.
Improve planning, tracking, and reporting tools and processes.
Prepare headcount and operating-expense reporting for executive leadership and the board.
