About the Role
You will oversee global equity programs and manage the full equity lifecycle, including issuance, reporting, governance, and employee education. You will maintain equity data, support financial reporting and complex transactions, coordinate with external advisors, and partner across functions to address employee equity questions.
Requirements
- Have 8–10 years of progressive experience in equity administration, including ideally at least 2 years in a manager-level or lead role.
- Demonstrate expertise with equity management platforms, preferably Shareworks.
- Understand GAAP accounting for equity compensation.
- Understand United States tax and securities regulations related to equity compensation, including 409A and equity taxation.
- Demonstrate analytical rigor and process orientation.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate across Finance, Legal, and People teams.
- Have experience in a pre-IPO or hyper-growth technology company environment.
- Have experience with Shareworks and Workday.
- Be familiar with global equity programs and expansion outside the United States, including ESPP and RSU.
- Have experience with tender offers, secondary sales, repurchases, and other complex equity transactions.
Responsibilities
- Own daily administration of equity plans, including stock option grants, RSUs, exercises, repurchases, and cancellations.
- Partner with People Operations to support onboarding, offboarding, and employee communications related to equity.
- Maintain accurate, reliable data in Shareworks.
- Assist with award valuations in Shareworks and complex equity transactions.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel on equity-related matters.
- Educate employees about equity, respond to requests, and coordinate answers to employee questions.
