About the Role
You will provide legal guidance for US operations, product structures, and financial-services regulation. You will draft customer and commercial documents, manage licensing and regulatory obligations, monitor agency developments, support payment and card products, and oversee outside counsel.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of post-qualification experience
- J.D. and admission to practice in at least one US jurisdiction
- Experience advising on digital assets and payments
- Knowledge of US financial legislation, regulation, and supervisory frameworks
- Familiarity with the SEC, CFTC, FinCEN, and state regulators
- Stakeholder management and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Advise on legal and compliance issues for stablecoin, payment, and card products
- Expand product offerings in line with regulatory requirements
- Draft and maintain customer-facing legal documents
- Manage US regulatory requirements and license applications
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise on their business impact
- Design compliant product structures with Product and Commercial teams
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements
- Ensure compliance with US financial-services regulation
- Manage US outside counsel relationships
