About the Role
You will manage transactions from term sheet through closing and post-closing administration. You will advise product and engineering teams on blockchain-based financial products, assess legal and regulatory implications, support governance and commercial contracting, and manage external counsel.
Requirements
- Be a qualified lawyer admitted in a recognized jurisdiction
- Have 4+ years of post-qualification experience in BigLaw, an in-house role, or both
- Have a transactional background in finance, securitization, project finance, structured finance, capital markets, corporate/M&A, or tax
- Support transactions, product launches, corporate governance, commercial contracts, and day-to-day legal matters
- Have experience managing transactions and negotiating with sophisticated counterparties
- Have strong drafting and research skills and experience managing external counsel
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in digital assets, DeFi, or blockchain-based financial products is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Manage transactions end to end, including agreements, negotiations, and closing processes
- Advise product and engineering teams on blockchain-based financial products
- Evaluate legal and regulatory implications of product features and business opportunities
- Review marketing materials, promotional campaigns, and public communications
- Track digital-asset, tokenization, securities, and financial-services developments and provide practical guidance
- Build and deliver internal legal and compliance training
- Support corporate transactions, governance matters, and strategic projects
- Instruct and manage external counsel
