About the Role
You will manage the intellectual property portfolio and patent pipeline, assess innovations for patentability, conduct prior-art searches, and monitor competitor patents. You will support inventors and external patent counsel, advise on intellectual property strategy, deliver training, and prepare technical and market analyses.

- Manage the intellectual property portfolio
- Conduct prior-art searches and assess patentability
- Collaborate with R&D teams to identify patentable innovations
- Support external counsel with patent drafting and filing
- Advise on intellectual property strategies
- Train inventors and managers on intellectual property
- Support administrative invalidation proceedings and patent examination
- Monitor competitor patents for innovation opportunities and potential infringements
- Prepare technical reports, market analyses, and patent landscape analyses
- Support intellectual property reviews for partnership contracts with universities and research institutes
- Manage invention protection and the patent pipeline
- Identify emerging technologies and innovation opportunities
- Search patent databases to validate novelty and analyze technological competition
- Draft and assess patents
- Coordinate with specialist firms and critically review technical documentation
