About the Role
You will resolve HR cases, process employee lifecycle transactions, manage Workday tasks, and prepare HR documents and employee files. You will support Japan HR operations, handle external correspondence, contribute to audits, manage complex cases independently, and escalate risks with proposed actions.
Requirements
- Four or more years of HR operations or HR shared services experience.
- Workday or SuccessFactors experience.
- ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar HR case-management tool experience.
- C1 written and spoken English.
- Experience working independently from procedures and handling non-standard cases.
- Willingness to work UK hours one to two days every two weeks.
Responsibilities
- Resolve HR queries and requests in ServiceNow within agreed timeframes.
- Process hires, changes, and leavers in Workday.
- Own the daily Workday task queue on assigned days.
- Prepare, sign, and distribute HR letters and documents.
- Maintain employee files in the online archive.
- Support Japan HR Operations.
- Handle and resolve or escalate correspondence from authorities and external bodies.
- Support complex cases and contribute to audits.
- Work with team members across India, Poland, and the UK.
- Assess non-standard cases and propose actions or escalations.
- Identify and escalate risks early.
