About the Role

You will plan, implement, and monitor financial crime prevention and risk review procedures; review suspicious transactions; manage the financial crime prevention team; improve fraud and anti-money laundering processes; maintain compliance documentation; coordinate regulatory audits; advise on regulatory requirements; support system and product projects; coordinate cross-department process improvements; report performance; and provide anti-money laundering training.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent qualification
  • At least 5 years of risk control and anti-money laundering experience in a financial institution or related organization
  • Internationally recognized CAMS certification
  • Certification as a professional in anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Interest in and enthusiasm for financial technology startups
  • Clear logical thinking and adaptability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment
  • Experience managing a team
  • Basic knowledge of blockchain and virtual currencies
  • Experience in the virtual currency or fintech industry is preferred
  • Experience in a financial institution's compliance department is preferred
  • Experience planning compliance technology projects is preferred
  • Basic English writing and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Plan, promote, and execute customer risk review procedures under the risk management framework
  • Monitor and review customer risk
  • Perform fraud prevention and anti-money laundering monitoring
  • Confirm suspicious transaction cases and conduct pre-report reviews
  • Manage the financial crime prevention team
  • Improve fraud prevention and anti-money laundering processes
  • Research domestic and international financial crime prevention information and trends
  • Design internal control mechanisms based on operational needs and regulatory feedback
  • Coordinate regulatory audits and inspections
  • Prepare and maintain compliance documents and records
  • Provide professional advice based on regulatory requirements and risk considerations
  • Participate in the implementation, testing, and maintenance of anti-money laundering systems, new technologies, and products
  • Coordinate cross-department process optimization requirements
  • Report anti-money laundering and fraud prevention performance regularly
  • Provide or arrange anti-money laundering training
  • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor
