About the Role
You will oversee financial control for credit products, own month-end reporting, and maintain balance-sheet substantiation. You will document provisioning policies, monitor credit risk and fraud losses, work with business and risk stakeholders, support budgeting and forecasting, strengthen internal controls, manage external advisors, and improve accounting processes.

Responsibilities
- Oversee controllership for proprietary credit offerings
- Own month-end reporting for profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Document and review loss-provisioning policies
- Monitor and report credit-risk performance
- Control reporting of fraud losses and negative account balances
- Work with business, product, operations, collections, risk, and FP&A stakeholders
- Support new credit lending and investment products
- Represent finance at credit-risk and risk-and-compliance committees
- Build financial-control processes and strengthen internal controls
- Maintain monthly balance-sheet substantiation
- Maintain relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and accounting advisors
- Prepare financial data for corporation tax compliance
- Improve accounting processes, operations, and systems
