About the Role
You will lead accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, treasury, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll. You will develop financial strategy, models, and forecasts; manage reporting, audits, tax filings, and controls; monitor financial performance; and support fundraising and business decisions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive finance leadership
- Experience managing a finance team in a high-growth company or startup
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, accounting principles, and business analytics
- Experience managing budgeting, treasury, compliance, and internal controls
- Experience supporting fundraising, investor reporting, and board deliverables
- Communication skills for presenting to C-suite leadership and the board
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Lead financial operations including accounting, FP&A, budgeting, treasury, AP/AR, and payroll
- Build financial planning, modeling, and forecasting processes
- Develop financial strategy, long-term planning, fundraising support, and resource allocation
- Direct financial close, reporting, audits, and tax filings
- Ensure regulatory compliance, GAAP compliance, and internal controls
- Monitor financial indicators and provide insights on risks and performance
- Set up and manage financial systems and controls
- Evaluate and support business initiatives and company-wide strategy
