About the Role
You will lead accounting across US and international entities, oversee close, ERP implementation, audits, controls, reporting, and compliance. You will build and manage a global accounting function, provide technical guidance to executives and the Board, and use automation to scale operations.
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
- Experience as a Controller or VP Finance at a high-growth venture-backed company or public technology company
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Active CPA license
- Experience leading an end-to-end ERP implementation
- Expert knowledge of US GAAP, international consolidation, and corporate tax structures
- Experience managing distributed accounting teams across multiple countries
- Experience scaling a finance function through major funding milestones or debt facilities
- Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to executives and the Board
Responsibilities
- Deliver an accurate and timely month-end close across all entities
- Lead selection and implementation of a scalable ERP
- Build accounting policies and internal controls
- Support external audits, public-company reporting standards, tax, and international compliance
- Deliver financial reporting and technical accounting guidance to executives and the Board
- Build and lead a global accounting team
- Use automation and AI tools to scale accounting operations
