About the Role
You will own end-to-end financial reporting for a business line, from transaction capture through month-end close and management reporting. You will prepare journals, reconcile accounts and systems, automate SQL-based reporting workflows, apply IFRS, support audits, analyze performance, and strengthen reporting controls and procedures.
Requirements
- CPA or equivalent qualification
- 4 to 7 years of accounting or financial reporting experience
- Technical accounting knowledge under IFRS
- SQL proficiency
- Experience working with large datasets across multiple systems
- ERP system experience
- Month-end close, journal entry, and reconciliation experience
- Ability to trace and resolve discrepancies across systems
- Written English communication skills
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end financial reporting for a designated business line
- Drive monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and balance-sheet substantiation
- Build and maintain reconciliations between source systems and the general ledger
- Develop and automate SQL-based financial reporting workflows
- Ensure revenue recognition and cost allocation comply with IFRS
- Prepare management reports and analyze performance, margins, and variances
- Support external audits and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate on accounting implications of business changes and product launches
- Strengthen internal controls and standard operating procedures
