About the Role
You will oversee accounting operations, prepare financial statements, manage reporting and working capital, strengthen financial controls, ensure tax and regulatory compliance, coordinate with auditors and advisors, partner with operational teams, and lead finance process improvements.
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant qualification
- 7 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and taxation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in ERP or accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Tally, Zoho, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Advanced Excel and MIS reporting capabilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-unit operational environment
Responsibilities
- Oversee AP, AR, GL, payroll, and financial closing operations
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
- Share MIS reports and analyze expenses
- Monitor working capital, cash flow, and liquidity
- Maintain Balance Sheet and PL schedules
- Design and strengthen financial controls and SOPs
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other regulations
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax advisors
- Ensure documentation and compliance for vendor payments and procurement
- Partner with operations, procurement, supply chain, and business teams
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team
- Establish performance goals and improve processes through automation and system enhancements
