About the Role
You will expand energy infrastructure by integrating large-load facilities into the electric grid, focusing on the MISO and SPP RTOs. You will perform grid integration and load deliverability studies, manage transmission injection processes, identify strategic points of interconnection, support technical specifications and proposals, contribute technical expertise, and maintain grid code compliance.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Power Systems with 3+ years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in Power Systems
- Experience in grid planning, system modeling, and grid code compliance studies
- Working knowledge of MISO/SPP transmission topology and load interconnection methodologies
- Technical report writing
- Verbal communication
- Experience with power system simulation tools is a bonus
- Working knowledge of R or Python is a bonus
