About the Role

You will work with end-users to define specifications and develop software solutions using Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL. You will maintain existing Oracle systems and integrations, troubleshoot and optimize APEX applications, improve development processes, follow coding standards, and write technical documentation.

Requirements

5+ years of application development experience
3+ years of Oracle PL/SQL experience
3+ years of Oracle APEX experience
Experience with data modeling
Experience with Git version control
Experience with a scripting language such as shell scripting, Python, or Node
Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web development, or REST web services is desirable
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is desirable
Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes is desirable

Responsibilities

Work with end-users to define specifications and develop software solutions
Work in a complex and non-routine environment requiring advanced technical and business skills
Maintain and support existing Oracle systems and third-party integrations
Improve development processes and follow coding standards
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize APEX applications for performance
Write technical documentation for applications, processes, and APIs
